These are the rules for using Dear Mama. By ticking the box at sign-in and using the app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Dear Mama is a community and directory, not a medical service. Nothing here is medical advice, and it is not for emergencies. If you or your baby need urgent help, contact your doctor or local emergency services straight away.
You must be 18 or over, and give a real email address that you control. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
In Moms Chat, clubs, comments and the Marketplace, please don’t:
We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these rules or put people at risk.
You own what you post. By posting, you give Dear Mama permission to store and display it in the app and to use it as described in our Privacy Policy, including the anonymous topic signals shown to brands and experts. Moms Chat messages are visible to other members of the room until they are deleted automatically, 10 days after posting.
The Marketplace is for members to pass items on to each other, and events are run by their organisers. Deals, meetings and events are between the people involved; Dear Mama isn’t a party to them and isn’t responsible for items, payments, or what happens at an event. Meet in public places and use your judgement. Listings are removed automatically after 10 days.
Browsing is free. Paid actions such as selling in the Marketplace, booking a space or registering for an event are free for every member until 31 March 2027. After that they may require a paid plan; we’ll tell you clearly before anything is charged, and nothing is charged without your agreement.
We work hard to keep Dear Mama running and accurate, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that arise from what members, experts, brands, organisers or sellers say or do, or from the app being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under UAE law that can’t be limited.
You can stop using Dear Mama at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top and ask you to agree again at your next sign-in. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
